The Dog Liberator rescues abandoned dogs throughout the Southeast. Based in Central Florida, this non-profit organization fosters all of their dogs in a home environment. Founded in 2009, all dogs are fully vetted, spayed or neutered prior to adoption. The Dog Liberator focuses in rescuing the herding breed, which consists of Border Collies, Shepherds, Sheepdogs, Aussies, Collies, and Deaf/Blind Dogs.

Fundraising:

We are reaching out to businesses who would like to donate discounts or opportunities for auction, contests, or raffles.  If your business can donate tickets to special events, discount coupons, gift cards, and other merchandise.   For more information TheDogLiberator@gmail.com

Alpha Dog Program:
The Alpha Dog Program is designed for businesses.    A one-time Donation $500 per dog allows a Business to have the opportunity of completely sponsoring one dog, their business logo and mission are included on the dog’s page.  Once the sponsored dog is adopted, the business is awarded a Plaque honoring their Sponsorship. This program has been proven to increase employee moral and unites employees by giving them a common cause where they are rewarded.

 

Internet Advertising:

We have over 2,500 followers on Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites.  Considering we are a very small, foster-based rescue, this is impressive.

Our website continues to average 500-1,000 views daily.  We are drawing new viewers and more importantly viewers return to our site on a regular basis.

The Dog Liberator is a non-profit, 501c(3) charitable organization.  They are foster-based.  All dogs are fostered in a home environment, which enables the dog to show its true color. Founded in 2009, The Dog Liberator has successfully rescued and adopted nearly 700 dogs.

TDL dogs are fully vetted, spayed or neutered prior to adoption. TDL does not receive government funding of any kind, and relies on individual donations and corporate sponsors.  By using Paypal, you can donate to The Dog Liberator’s Veterinary Care Fund.

The Dog Liberator focuses on rehabilitation, taking in deaf and/or blind dogs, dogs that need social skills, fearful dogs, and dogs that suffer from depression. They also focus on educating the public regarding medical issues, like heartworm treatment, parvovirus, adopting senior dogs, Addison’s disease, pneumonia, and proper diet.

The Dog Liberator has a less than 1 percent return rate, and they pride themselves at creating the perfect match for dog lovers. Their adoption updates are shared on both Facebook, and their website thus creating a professional and personal relationship with their adopters.
