Birdie, the Bearded Collie Girl~Adopted

Birdie, the Bearded Collie Girl~Adopted

Birdie was adopted a year ago by Frances, but, unfortunately, her condo association is making it impossible for her to keep Birdie.  I spoke with Frances’ son, Vincent, and he assures me that this is very difficult for Frances, that she’s in tears, and loves Birdie very much.  He believes that condo life is not suiting Birdie; she needs a yard to play and run in. He also stressed how good Birdie is with young children.

Rub my belly, please!

I believe Birdie to be a Bearded Collie or Tibetan Terrier that has either been bred down in size or crossed with something else as she only weighs about 31 pounds. Regardless, she is about as cute as they come!

Three-year-old Birdie is playful and loving. She weighs about 31 lbs., is very people- and dog-friendly (don’t know about cats yet). She loves to be brushed, stands well to be bathed, walks like a champ on a leash, and — huge bonus — is housetrained! Birdie is really just a big lovebug that follows you from room to room and wants nothing more than a spot at your feet and the occasional scratch behind the ears. I can definitely see her with an active young family. Any takers? You won’t be sorry!

Birdie is currently in the Juno Beach area and will be making her way to my house in Deltona on Thursday. Stay tuned for updates!

Wanna play?

You can see more photos of Birdie in her Facebook photo album. If you are interested in adopting her, please review “How to Adopt From Us” and email your information to me at gisele.thedogliberator@gmail.com.
