Butterbean the Border Collie Puppy ~ Adopted
Butterbean is one of a litter of four puppies we rescued from a shelter in rural north Georgia. She is also the only girl, making her the princess of the family!
Butterbean has a thick, soft coat that is predominately white: Freckles on her nose, a black mask and a couple of black spots on her right side. She is rather quiet so far, but that may just be the result of having been in a shelter and her spay surgery. Sure, I admit it: I hope she really is quiet! I mean, how unique would that be in a Border Collie? lol
I have set up a photo album for ButterBean and will certainly be adding to it. I am fostering Butterbean in Winter Park. August 8th Update:
All the puppies were outside playing this morning and I, of course, had my camera in my hand. Here they are enjoy the morning together. Adorable!
August 12th Update:
Butterbean is such girl! She is the princess of her litter, playing with the boys when she wants and then watching over them from the shade when she’ tired of their silly antics. Rather laid back, she is like a ray of sunshine!
August 14th Update:
Butterbean has found her home. Oh my gosh, this was hard! Kim and her children Allison and Trent just couldn’t decide, and I couldn’t help them one bit. These puppies are just so grand, and so very similar in personality. Everyone else who has visited has had the same problem. But finally it was decided: Butterbean. And what a great decision. They are just going to adore this little girl! Parrish, welcome your new Dog Liberator pup!

Well, I was a day late for FLIPPER, and then my daughter called and said there was the cutest border called Butterbean on the website. . . by the time
I got home and got on the computer, Butterbean was adopted. I think anyone who adopts a rescue is very lucky! Congrats to you and Butterbean!!
We had very hard time deciding between Banjo and Butterbean. If my son had not conceded to the female and being able to name her I think we would still be there deciding! He is an adorable and gentle dog. We are enjoying his sister who my son has named Star. You would not go wrong with him.
