Cool Beans, the Border Collie Pointer Mix is Perfect – Adopted!

Cool beans was pulled from a shelter in Chipley, Florida and hitched a ride with Tuck Me In. She is an incredibly well-balanced dog and very affectionate. Cool Beans is not hyper, but not boring either! I could place her in a home with senior citiziens, or plop her in a busy daycare! Nothing phases Cool Beans!

Yahoo! Cool Beans has found her forever home. Amy Bach and her boyfriend have brought home one of the most well-balanced dogs I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Cool Beans needs basic puppy training classes to learn the basics. She will go for long walks and enjoy being an awesome companion dog. We’re all so happy for her, she was one cool little dog!

Update: It is with great despair that I report that Cool Beans has been tested positive for Heart worms. Somehow, the testing was not done during her recent spay. Her new owner, Amy, is considering all of the options. I will be providing some useful information regarding treatment options on this blog shortly.

    "Hi Gisele,

Cool beans has been such a sweetheart the past 2 days. She is very calm and seems to be happy in her new home. We renamed her to Sadie because we think it fits her personality more. I just wanted to let you know that I took her to the vet today. She gave hugs and kisses to everyone at the vet office. Unfortunately, she tested heartworm positive. The next step is to set up a follow up vet appointment to determine the stage that she is in. She then will have injections, painkillers, antibiotics, etc. I have a tentative follow up appointment set up this week."
