Fred is a stunning Bernese Mountain Dog/Aussie, weighing in at 70 pounds, he is stunning.  He is great with kids, other dogs, and cats.  He is somewhat trained to sit, and is fairly good on the leash.  He went in and out of dozens of cars and a plane to get to us, so getting into another car is not so smooth, but we’re working on it!  Once he’s in the car, he’s a dream!

Fred has a lot of energy, and loves to play, he is very young.  While I believe he will become a couch potato in the future, for now,  he is curious, loves to explore and needs to be kept busy!

Special thanks to all of the wonderful people who volunteered to transport Fred to our rescue.  We just love him!

You can see more photos of Fred on Facebook.

Update:  Fred  is hilarious.  He doesn’t know how to play with dogs his own size, but he’s in love with little dogs and cats…. he finds them fascinating and entertaining!

Update:  Fred has been adopted and will be heading to Jupiter.  He will be an only dog and get a lot of attention!
