Heath

Heath is a stunning dog that Dale Parent asked me to take a look at.  Heath is from Athens Dog Pound in Alabama.  Since I had two gorgeous female Border Collies on the way, I asked if Heath can hitch a ride.  Heath’s former name was Butch.  He was fostered by Deb Gaylord while waiting transport.  He is a 1 1/2 year old and weighs about 30 pounds.  Heath spent the night at Kevin’s place, and Sarah White transported him to my house yesterday.  Needless to say, everyone here fell in love with him.  He sleeps on his back and sticks his legs straight up in the air!  He is great with other dogs and loves kids.  Someone has trained this little boy to have great manners, because he will not jump on you, even when invited (just like Jake).

You can see all of his photos on Facebook.

Heath was adopted by the Dawson family!  Updates coming soon!
