What can I say about Jingle, Jangle and Jubilee? They are adorable!

Becky sent us an photo of a litter of Border Collie puppies in Alabama. Could we take them? Of course! We were all set up, their places were reserved in the vehicles leaving the next day when *cough* they developed kennel cough. Naturally! Kandy agreed to foster them (thank you Kandy) until they recovered.

Two weeks went by. The next transport was scheduled. Cars leaving Saturday morning. Then, lo and behold, Jeff Bennett of Pilots N Paws said that he was available to fly dogs this way. Whooppie! These puppies arrived in style! Flying the distance in a matter of a few short hours rather than one very long day, they arrived tails wagging.

They are so adorable. We estimate that they were born in mid-January. Jingle and Jangle are the boys. They have longer fur, looking almost like Papillons right now because they are so small (about 5 pounds). Jingle has more white on him, plus a touch of gold in his eyebrows and ears. Jangle looks like a classic rough-coat border collie white his white flash on the face and collar, plus socks and tail. Jubilee is the girl and looks like a smooth-coat Border Collie. In fact, she reminds me of my Splenda, both in looks and happy spirit.

I can’t tell Kandy just how much I appreciate her. These puppies have arrived here in wonderful condition, both physically and emotionally. That only happens when they have been cared for and loved by someone, and in this case I know that “someone” is Kandy. Now Cathy is caring for them in Winter Springs, and they couldn’t be in better hands.

Be sure to check out their photo album.

Now all that is missing is their forever homes. If you think that you might be interested in adopting one of these precious pups, please review our adoption process, then e-mail holly.thedogliberator@gmail.com .

  1. Jingles (also now known as Holiday) is doing very well. He loves his new home, along with my home made food and is having a blast. He’s 17 pounds now. (double the size from when I got him 6 weeks ago) and he is loved by all who meet him. I can’t thank you enough for helping him find me
    Big Hugs
