The Dog Liberatorâ„¢

The Dog Liberator rescues abandoned dogs throughout the Southeast. Based in Central Florida, this non-profit organization fosters all of their dogs in a home environment. Founded in 2009, all dogs are fully vetted, spayed or neutered prior to adoption. The Dog Liberator focuses in rescuing the herding breed, which consists of Border Collies, Shepherds, Sheepdogs, Aussies, Collies, and Deaf/Blind Dogs.

Border Collie "Indy", the Smiling Dog!

Indy is shown on the right with his pack. This young 1 year old boy is fully vetted and neutered. He enjoys playing with other dogs that have his same energy. He is being fostered by Bruce.

Indy has enjoyed being part of a pack and is very well trained.

Bruce writes, “Indy knows how to sit, heel, down, roll over (somewhat), speak, run, stay, shake hands, and will do several of these from a distance such as 50 feet.

Originally, Zondra rescued Indy from a high-kill shelter in South Carolina. He has really come a long way since then.

Indy’s brother, Echo (aka Niles and Frasier Crane) is also available for adoption, Click here to see his blog page.
