Princess Kelly is Here – Adopted

and my kids won’t let her out of their bedroom! Kelly comes to us from my wonderful CPA/Accountant, Kingsley Shinner. This gorgeous girl was owned by his mother, who unfortunately has found herself having to move… and Princess can’t go with her. We’re calling her Kelly, because… it was Sarah’s idea, and with Princess Lady Di here, well… we’re a family that easily gets confused.
No need to get excited though, this little gem is already spoken for. Stay tuned for updates, this is going to be ONE AWESOME DOG!

Update: Princess Kelly is at her new foster’s house, but I seriously doubt that she will quickly be permanently adopted. We have big plans for her, and are going to ask Jesse to help assist the family to train Kelly to achieve a Canine Good Citizenship Status. She deserves nothing less, she’s an awesome dog. Can’t wait for updates!

07/25/10 Adoption Update: Princess Kelly has been renamed Lady Arabela. Her new owners, Cyndy and Ed and their son, Matthew are madly in love with her.

September 11 Update from Matt:

Ok, so I wore the stupid hat…now where is my TREAT!!!!

  1. What can I say…a boy and his collie girl! It was love at first sight! We won't mention that Arabela has completely taken over the hearts of Mom and Dad too. She passed the test with flying colors with Paco (Chihuahua) and Winston (Cavalier King Charles) our other two rescues. Arabela thinks Paco is her own personal wind up toy! Arabela is graceful, regal and divinely charming! Kudos to Matthew for showing such great responsibility in taking care of "his girl" and my wonderful husband Ed who has now allowed us three dogs and a cat in a 3 bedroom apartment! Yes the man is a saint! Hopefully, we will be in our house soon. In the meantime, it is quite the sight to see us walking and playing with this trio!
Gisele has done her magic once again and found this family a perfect fur child! Thank you, thank you. thank you Gisele! We love you!
