The Dog Liberatorâ„¢

The Dog Liberator rescues abandoned dogs throughout the Southeast. Based in Central Florida, this non-profit organization fosters all of their dogs in a home environment. Founded in 2009, all dogs are fully vetted, spayed or neutered prior to adoption. The Dog Liberator focuses in rescuing the herding breed, which consists of Border Collies, Shepherds, Sheepdogs, Aussies, Collies, and Deaf/Blind Dogs.

The Dog Liberator Gets Small!

It’s New Year’s Eve, and today, we have all met to discuss our past successes and our future plans. You are probably wondering, what could we possibly be up to now?

We have worked hard to create a model for rescuing death row dogs, and we’re still not finished. We have consulted with experienced rescuers and did a lot of thinking outside of the box. Our work has resulted in 60 adoptions from July 15th to December 31st of 2009.

Now what?

We are taking The Dog Liberator model of rescue and creating The Little Dog Liberator. The Little Dog Liberator will focus primarily on the toy breeds and the little mixes. These are the little dogs that have found their way to The Border Collie Boot Camp, some by accident.

These little guys like Sprint, Cody, Lilly, Tuck Me In, the Shwestie Puppies, the Scruffy Puppies and now Pebbles have won us over.

If you or someone you know wants to adopt a special little lap dog, trot over to The Little Dog Liberator for future updates and special stories.

Thank you for helping us achieve an incredibly successful year, and allowing us to share our stories with you.

Gisele
