The Dog Liberatorâ„¢

The Dog Liberator rescues abandoned dogs throughout the Southeast. Based in Central Florida, this non-profit organization fosters all of their dogs in a home environment. Founded in 2009, all dogs are fully vetted, spayed or neutered prior to adoption. The Dog Liberator focuses in rescuing the herding breed, which consists of Border Collies, Shepherds, Sheepdogs, Aussies, Collies, and Deaf/Blind Dogs.

We are Looking for Brilliant Ideas!

We are looking for a super cool slogan that describes our style of rescue. We posted on Facebook a request for input, and the response has been ginormous! Soon, Holly and I will take the top three or four ideas, and vote on it! The slogan will be imprinted on our t-shirts and everywhere else, for that matter! Here’s what supporters had to say on Facebook.

We are also looking for ideas from graphic designers to come up with a logo. While Shy Shannon is shown on our business cards, a graphic that depicts how we save death row dogs, rehabilitate them, and re-home them won’t be easy, but it will be fun! If you have a graphic design idea, please email it to me at thedogliberator@gmail.com

One idea was to use the symbol for ying & yang, and my idea was to take a profile of China, Ozzie, and Lady Di, representing the herding breed in a spectacular setting. Since I’m not artistic, I’m going to bow out, and let the professionals suggest!

Former adopter, Ed Jillson, has offered to sponsor the t-shirts and a very spectacular and creative way! This is a very exciting opportunity for us.

John P Anhalt submitted these two ideas!
