StarSpark Gems – Preserving Pet Memories

StarSparks Gems are a unique and beautiful way to honor a beloved pet. As with its sister company, StarSeed Gems for loved ones, each pendent is custom designed and created by Lynn and Marion. As they describe it, “ashes are coated with a luminescence and applied within layers of art glass, then fired in a high temperature kiln. The ashes absorb light energy as the pendant is worn and in darkness the ashes release light energy, each one gently shimmering. The stones are designed to look like a beautiful night sky, when in darkness.”   A $50 donation is made to us when customers indicate they learned of the pendants from us!

Our friend and adopter Chris recently ordered one and sent me this note and photo:

“Dear Holly,

After seeing TDL’s praises for Starseed Gems, I knew this was the perfect gift for my dear friend Lizz. She had lost her son Brandon in a horrible car crash 6 years earlier. She generously shared a small amount of his ashes with his closest friends. My daughter Ashley was his “BESTEST”. So off to Lynn to design a memory for her!

I must say it was not a mistake! Lynn has created a beautiful pendant for her Mother’s Day gift. I know it will give her peace to see a little part of him glowing still.

I wish I had known of Starseed Gems before I sealed my Ralphie’s urn. I will carry him in my heart instead. Knowing that TDL will receive a $50 donation from this purchase kinda does make it in honor of my Little Man!
