The Dog Liberator™

The Dog Liberator rescues abandoned dogs throughout the Southeast. Based in Central Florida, this non-profit organization fosters all of their dogs in a home environment. Founded in 2009, all dogs are fully vetted, spayed or neutered prior to adoption. The Dog Liberator focuses in rescuing the herding breed, which consists of Border Collies, Shepherds, Sheepdogs, Aussies, Collies, and Deaf/Blind Dogs.

McKenna the Border Collie~Adopted

McKenna is a beautiful purebred Border Collie. She is seven years old, and although it pains her owners to give her up, they are doing so because she has a very strong herding drive, and does not appreciate the commotion of toddlers!

She is fully trained, housebroken, spayed, up-to-date on shots, loves to play frisbee, play catch and swim! If you have ever wanted to adopt a Border Collie but don’t want to put up with those puppy years, McKenna is your girl!
