Can't Resist that Face!

Rufus is a six year old Golden Retriever, heartworm negative.  He loves to play ball, is crate trained, needs a fenced in yard, adores children, will not harm livestock (he’s carried a live chicken in his mouth without harming it).  He loves to play in the pond but not sure of the pool yet!

These are simply farm dogs.  They run on 2 acres every day, then at dinner time, they are racing into their crates!  They will need to be introduced to their new surroundings and their new homes.

Rufus was called Rusty, and his brother are available for adoption and are located in near the Sanford/Deltona area.  Email thedogliberator@gmail.com for more information.  New photos of Rufus will be posted on his Photo album on Facebook.  Rufus’ brother, Khan is also available for adoption.

If you are interested in adopting, please tell me a bit about yourself. We do not have an adoption application but instead rely upon on interview process. At a minimum, please share such things as

where you live,
household composition,
yard setup and/or exercise plan,
pets you have and/or had,
work schedule and amount of time the dog would be alone,
what contingency plans you have in place should you no longer be able to care for your dog,
if you rent do you have landlord approval,
what you are looking for in a dog, etc.
if you are approved to adopt during your meet, are you prepared to bring your new dog home with you?

The more information the merrier. And there are no “right” answers. Honest! Please include a phone number at which you may be reached.

Thank you again!
