Sugar Ray, the Family Guy-Adopted

Sugar Ray is said to be 3 years old.

Sugar Ray is overweight, and needs exercise. In one month, he will be perfect. Sugar Ray is crate trained and housebroken, he is very calm and affectionate, but not over the top with regard to energy. He is not a nervous dog, and is very noble in personality. Sugar Ray’s photo album can be viewed on Facebook.

December 8th Update:

The results are in! Sugar Ray is being fostered by Lynne Deal in Clearwater, and from the moment he arrived, he blended in nicely with the pack, which includes Star, Kudos and Johnny Ray. He is calm, polite, and has been kid-tested and approved. Both Mark & Leslie can’t believe how gorgeous he is, and they picture him with a family that will appreciate how noble and gentle he is!

Adoption Update 12/19/10: Sugar Ray whose real name is Joe, has been adopted by Frayda Morris!

December 20th Update:

Joe is doing great, seems like he has been with the 4 of us for months or years already.

Here are some pics from this morning.

  1. I got to transport Sugar Ray today, who was quiet and content the entire 3 hour ride. Such a sweet boy! When I dropped him off he did very well meeting his new furry friends and made a point to nuzzle my hand before I left. He seems quiet and mellow but very faithful. Can't wait to see this gentle giant's update!

  2. Jennifer from Orlando told me about your organization. She originally talked to me about Dixie Bell and this afternoon when we spoke she told me about Sugar Ray. I looked him up on your web site and fell instantly in love.

My family consists of myself and my husband Mike and our 2 dogs, Murrary and Max.

Murrary is a Collie who is about 16 years old. In the past couple of months Murrary's back legs have been giving him alot of trouble but with regular visits to the Vet and medication he is doing ok but the sad reality is slowly coming upon us. We got Murrary about 13 years ago from Collie Rescue when we lived in the Chicago area. When we moved down here in 2000 Murry and our other dog Shadow also a Collie, loved our adventure. Unfortunantly, Shadow passed away about 5 years ago at the age of 14.

When Shadow passed away we adopted Max, an Aussie from the Orlando SPCA. Max has been a delight and he is about 4 years old.

We live in the Hunters Creek area in Orlando. We own our home which has a giantic back yard but is not fenced. Both Mike and I are self-employed and are gone from the house no longer than hours at a crack.

We would love to meet Sugar Ray. Please contact me as soon as you can. My cell phone number is 407-575-9923 and my office number is 407-933-1311. You can also touch base with me at frayda@camgt.net but I only check my e mails in my office during normal working hours. We would really like to meet Sugar Ray this weekend.

    Thank you for your consideration.

    Frayda Morris
