Piccolo the Australian Jack Puppy ~ Adopted

Piccolo and her sister Peekaboo were rescued from a high kill shelter in rural Georgia thank you to the extraordinary efforts of Vicki Truelove. Peekaboo is clearly an Australian Shepherd. Piccolo, just as clearly, has something else going on in the family tree. Her front paws remind me of my Gus’, a Basset mix. But her face, ears, and personality speak of Jack Russel. I really don’t know, for surely her daddy was a traveling man of mixed heritage, but I gotta tell ya, things came together very nicely in this little girl!
Piccolo looks like a stuffed toy, so perfect and cute. Her legs are rather short, her body is somewhat long, her eyes are bright buttons and her face is always in a smile. She is very outgoing and playful. She loves to run, wrestle and jump. No couch potato, this one! I estimate that Piccolo was born around the beginning of May. You can see lots of photos of her in her photo album.
I am fostering Piccolo in Winter Park. If you think you might be interested in adopting her, please first read our page on Starting Your Dog Off Right, then review our Adoption Process and e-mail me at Holly.TheDogLiberator@gmail.com
August 8th Update:
All the puppies were outside playing this morning and I, of course, had my camera in my hand. Here they are enjoy the morning together. Adorable!
August 10th Update:
Piccolo is headed home. Janet has always had multiple dogs and life doesn’t feel right with just Roxy the blue-eyed Aussie in the house. When she met our little character Piccolo, well, who can resist Piccolo? Roxy though she was great fun,and son David liked her right off the bat. So now Piccolo has a fabulous family. Wonderful! Groveland, welcome your newest Dog Liberator puppy!
