Olivia the Aussie Pup Renamed Kiah – Adopted

If Olivia is anything like our previous Aussies, Carly, Kylie and Pepper, she will be a quiet, respectful and affectionate dog that will be perfect for children, and will enjoy either a quiet home or a home with another dog to play with. Olivia will be temperament tested and updates will soon follow!

Update 12/20/09: This photo does NOT do her justice. Olivia is quite the cuddle bunny, she is great in the car, very gentle and affectionate. She’s going to make someone very happy.

Update 12/22/09: Olivia is just a dream girl. She was vetted, microchipped and groomed. Once groomed the dingy yellow transformed into what Joyce calls a Marhsmallow! She literally shines. I took her to the vet today along with Lady Di and Chelsea, and she was quite social. Tomorrow, we are going to continue to introduce her to other dogs, and convince her that play is a good thing! I think Olivia would make an awesome addition to any family, and with the proper socialization, she will love to be part of pack, after all, what makes a dog happier than a good home, great people, and friendly dogs!!!!

Forgot to mention, she is very young, maybe 9 months old tops – vet confirmed!

Update 12/26/09: Olivia has been adopted and renamed Kiah. She is now living in a Condo on the beach, and can be considered, “the up-town girl!” Kiah has two owners to please, which should be easy, and has many new friends to meet. Her fluffy and bouncy walk should make everyone in her neighborhood quite envious! Please click on the comments to read about her new home.

Olivia: what? what's that? who's that? what are you doing? do you need help? can I help?

Whoa. She's a busy bee and is so super alert, super energetic. Luckily she's a blank slate for whomever chooses to embark on a mission with this out-of-this world beauty!

Olivia's adapting wonderfully!! Will post photos soon. I've asked my granddaughter to name her and will let you know what she decides. Thanks for being such a great foster-mom.

Olivia no more. Her name is KIAH which means "from the beautiful place" .

Kiah's (formerly known as Olivia) enjoying walking in the park, meeting neighbors (including the terrible terriers), and learning to ride the elevator. Hugs to everyone at The Dog Liberator.
