The Dog Liberator rescues abandoned dogs throughout the Southeast. Based in Central Florida, this non-profit organization fosters all of their dogs in a home environment. Founded in 2009, all dogs are fully vetted, spayed or neutered prior to adoption. The Dog Liberator focuses in rescuing the herding breed, which consists of Border Collies, Shepherds, Sheepdogs, Aussies, Collies, and Deaf/Blind Dogs.

Pet Portraits to Support Rescue! (A Fun Fundraiser)
Lisa Yttri, who adopted Bama (AKA Billy Ray), has created an awesome opportunity to support our rescue and get a little something for yourself. Check this out!

I’m starting a fundraiser for the rescue where we got Bama, our once shy and fearful Border Collie. If interested in receiving an 8×10 hand drawn image of your pet, please see the instructions below. 50% of the proceeds will go directly to The DogLiberator, Gisele Veilleux’s rescue here in Florida. If you want to see more of my drawings, go to my My Recent Drawings album. I have done over 200 drawings and have had very happy “customers”.

  2. Send a closeup photo of your pet to lyttri@hotmail.com
  3. The drawing will be sent out ASAP and TDL will receive 50% of the donation!

The drawing is an 8×10″ graphite drawing and makes an amazing piece of art for your home, office, or a gift for a friend. How awesome is this?  We hope you enjoy this unique and fun opportunity to support rescue!
