Hi there! My name is Abby! I need a new home ASAP, but let me tell you a little bit about me!

I am as much sass as I am sweet! I am a strong and independent girl with spunk and determination! They don’t lie when they say age is just a number because I may be 12 years young, but I have the agility of a 5-year-old and will play ball until the cows come home! I’ve been called the Golden Girl because I’m a little goofy, but feisty. “Well-seasoned” as some may say. Because I am older and a little aloof, I tend to demand your undivided attention so I do best as your only dog friend in the house.

Cats are cool though! I’m completely housebroken- I tell you when I need to go out, I use a crate, I’m a little stubborn some times but I do know commands and recalls, I also talk to you from time to time.. mostly to let you know there’s an animal on TV or the FedEx guy is here, and I don’t have very many teeth (they don’t make doggy dentures so I’m S.O.L on that one) so you never have worry about this lady chewing or tearing anything valuable up! I’m also very respectful of your furniture and beds. As long as I have feet to lay by, my whole world is complete! I really just want to be your companion and I want to do everything with you and provide some fun entertainment for you along the way. I have a lot of life to live and I am not done yet. My foster says that my attitude even fools her so don’t pass this “old girl” by because not only would you be missing out on the best years of my life, but the best companionship of yours!
