Baby Bella ~ Adopted

Many years ago, Megan fostered Nat King Cole and Brenda Lee for us. Â Two gorgeous dogs that we rescued from Craig’s List (I think). Â It was Christmas time, hence their names!

They were adopted by Robert and Vicki Guth, and renamed Bourdeaux and Nanette! Â For many years, they sent me updates that made us feel warm inside! Â Even though the pair loved to dig up Vicki’s landscape, they were adored!

It was just a few months ago that Robert notified me about Nanette’s passing. Â Several times, Robert expressed an interest in adopting several of our dogs, but in my heart, I knew it wasn’t a match.
Once again, God plays a huge role in our efforts to rescue. Â I know He does, because even though we are a very talented and dedicated group, there are some things that are just simply not in our power!

Just a few weeks ago, Becky Harshman emailed us a photo of pups that needed to be rescued. Â That’s when I saw her… this tiny but healthy female baby that looked exactly like Nanette.

Robert and I exchanged a few emails, and the next day he was in his car driving from Tennessee to Alabama to personally pick up his new pup! Â They have named her Bella. Â Our latest update from Robert is that Bella has learned to retrieve her own leash from the basket when it’s time for a walk! Â Hilarious!
Welcome Bella! Â You have big paws to fill!
