Charley is a purebred Border Collie, a smoothie. As many vacuum cleaners that I’ve gone through with my collies, a smoothie seems to be a very attractive option!

"Just pick one!"
“Just pick one!”

Charley was purchased from a breeder, but his owners already had two dogs that created their own pack.  The nonsense of a new puppy did not appeal to the older dogs, and he got picked on.  Because of that, his owners gave Charley a lot of love and attention… maybe too much, as Charley is a bit insecure and has thunderphobia.

Charley needs a fresh start with an owner that understands that he needs a leader!

Charley lives to play ball, and  is quite a cuddler!  You can see many photos of Charley on our Facebook Page.

09/01/14 Update:  Charley was adopted Saturday by Doug.  Doug adopted Jubilee from us several years ago.  As I described Charley’s issues with Doug, he was familiar with all of them!  He has the experience to exercise a Border Collie properly, and in proper socialization.  Within 24 hours, Doug has managed to turn Charley around super fast, and I’m looking forward to getting continued updates of Charley’s progress.
