Vicki sent me a photo of this gorgeous dog, who was at Clayton County, Georgia where Huckleberry came from.  A few weeks ago, I received an email from Cynthia volunteering to foster dogs for us in the Atlanta area.  What a match!  Cynthia went to the shelter, and fell in love with this very young little boy.  With her help, he is now a TDL dog!

Clifford

Clifford is just a pup, maybe 6-8 months of age.  I believe he may be a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever… who knows.

Cynthia writes:  So, Clifford is a snuggler. He wants to sit right in between your legs… when you sit down outside on a patio chair, he sits behind you so his body can touch yours.  He uses his nose tons- sniffing everything. So far, has not chased a squirrel or a bird. He licks all my other pups on the mouth. He is not at ease on in a crate, but by the end of the night, he stops barking and sleeps through the night.

Happy Face!

He is happy when he can walk around the house, and always wants to be where the people are. He is more interested in people than other dogs, but he is super friendly with the dogs and is definitely part of their playtime.  He has webbed feet- and is curious about the pool.   That is it for day one. He has to have been a pet- well fed, shows no fear signs.  ~ Cynthia

You can see his photo album on Facebook, he is gorgeous!

06/04/13 Update:  Clifford was transported to Orlando thanks Amy, a volunteer and adopted by Mike Drogo!  Mike adopted our Eclipse, how named Jordan a few years ago.  He recently lost his senior dog, and Jordan has been very lonely without a playmate!  Clifford is now a Deltona TDL dog!  Woo Hoo!
