What’s a Lhasa apso Yorki mix? Â A YorkiApso! Â Britteny Myers looked it up for me, that that’s Hugo!
Written by Sarah White: Â Hugo came to us after being dumped in an apartment complex with two other dogs. One was re-homed, the other unfortunately didn’t make it, but little Hugo came to us thanks to two good Samaritans, Jon and Chris, who took the little guy in and helped him out. We think Hugo is a “yorkie apso” (Part Yorkie, part lhasa apso). This cute little guy is just waiting to wiggle into someone’s heart.
Could you please help us by being Hugo’s virtual foster? http://
Hugo is great with the pack, he is quiet in his crate, and he needs a lot of grooming. Â I’m afraid that grooming will lead to some serious medical attention. Â His scabs are inflamed. Â I’m sure a theraputic bath by Groomer, Serena Drake and the attention from the folks at Val-u-Vet will turn him around on a dime.
Of course, the first thing I did was serve him a meal of Doc’s Stew by Andi Brown. Â He gobbled it. Â Along with Andi’s “Best in Coat” I’m sure his fur will be gorgeous soon!
What I find interesting is McDreamy is very fond of Hugo. Â He follows him around with his tail wagging constantly.
Hugo will visit the vet tomorrow (Tuesday) and be neutered on Wednesday. Â We will have more information about him then, and of course, we’ll share updates!
Hugo’s photo album is on Facebook!
10/28/12 Update: Hugo was adopted today by Diana Hall and her husband, and is setting up his permanent residence in Okeechobee, Florida!
Brittney Meyers gave me a glimpse as to what Hugo will eventually look like!

I would like more information about Hugo. We are looking to adopt a pet. Thank you
Hello,
Is Hugo adopted yet? We are interested if he is still available. Please reply.
Thank you.
Hugo was adopted yesterday!
Update on Hugo now known as Rocky.
Rocky is living high on the hog. My father calls me Ellie Mae because if there is an animal around me it will always come my way. I feel so fortunate that way. I am his favorite wink which I must say Makes me feel special.
We absolutely ADORE Rocky. He has acclimated to life with his “siblings” Reggie an 11 year old Rottie-mix rescue, Sampson a 6 year old Chow-Shepherd mix rescue and Monica Mewinsky, a feline rescue that happened to be pregnant with 3 kittens. Stella, Mia & Tia. Thus, the name.
He has no fear of the cats and get along famously. They taunt him to chase them and he obliges. But it is all in good fun to him.
We spend a lot of time keeping care of my elderly parents and the dogs load up and go with us to see them and my parents are crazy about him. They have begged me to let them keep him and he has sleep overs with them from time to time. He is their Granddog. LOL
I don’t see how anyone could “throw away” Rocky but really after being with him for all this time, I believe whoever had him did love him because he is such a grounded dog. Not at all the craziness of neglect. I wish I could find out the before “rest of the story” but as far as Rocky’s rest of the story I only see lots of love, hugs and kisses.
Thank you Sarah and your friends, Gizelle and TDL for giving us a wonderful addition to the family
