The Dog Liberator rescues abandoned dogs throughout the Southeast. Based in Central Florida, this non-profit organization fosters all of their dogs in a home environment. Founded in 2009, all dogs are fully vetted, spayed or neutered prior to adoption. The Dog Liberator focuses in rescuing the herding breed, which consists of Border Collies, Shepherds, Sheepdogs, Aussies, Collies, and Deaf/Blind Dogs.

Gisele,
Sam went 3 weeks ago for his check up and aside of hookworms the vet said he is a smart healthy dog. He is really settling in nicely with the family. In one day he was taught to shake with both paws and sit. We are working on stay, but I think that will come very quickly too. He also enjoys skate boarding with the boys. He pulls them down the street on their boards. The boy in him enjoys (as my son Nash puts it) tussling with them, but he also at times thinks he's a lap dog and as you know at 45 pounds that's a big lap dog. I will keep you posted with new happenings over the next few months.
Hope all is well,
Kelly
