Calling all TDL Dogs for Giving Tuesday

Are you ready for some healthy competition? We are asking each of our volunteers, supporters, and adopters to start their own fundraising campaign for The Dog Liberator and Giving Tuesday.  It’s Easy Peasy!

Before you get started, ask your place of business to create a Fundraising Campaign for The Dog Liberator and your co-workers can participate in #GivingTuesday! 

First Visit the Donation Site for Giving Tuesday by Clicking Here, and Create an Account using your email address, enter your information, set your password, and Poof – you’re almost there!

Now that you have an account, Click here to Visit our Page.  If for some reason, you need to search for us, please search for Dog Liberator, Inc.  Then, scroll down to the bottom right-hand side until you see the Fundraise for This Cause button.

Now think about how you want to create a Fundraising Campaign.  I created one called Healing Claire Bear.  But yours can be anything you want it to be.

Ask your dog would like to be in charge of this fundraising event!  Why not?  How great would it be if all of adopters created a fundraising campaign in their honor of the dog they adopted from us?  Alfie, Shep, Rider, Gordon Ramsay, Boo Boo, Bart… we have adopted approximately 700 dogs, that’s a lot of campaigns!

Maybe you want to create a Help Parvo Puppies Campaign and generate donations for future Parvo Puppies that TDL rescues and fosters.

Maybe you want to create a Fundraiser for Border Collies, Aussies, Stinkin’ Cute Fluffy Puppies.

Maybe Deaf and Blind Dogs, or Rescue Heartworm Positive Dogs is your cup of tea.

Maybe you simply want to generate donations for our Veterinary Care Fund, or for a specific need, like a transportation vehicle.  What you design is up to you!

 

You can upload multiple photos, videos, and write your story.  Once your Fundraising Idea is complete, share it on your Facebook Page, Twitter, Blog or create an Email Campaign and ask your friends and co-workers to get involved… why?  Because this is a contest!  It doesn’t matter where you live, if you’ve adopted from us or not, what matters is you want to help support our rescue efforts.  It can’t get any easier than this.  Just create a campaign online, share it with your friends, share it with us, and we get to rescue, care for, and find great homes for more dogs!

Each Fundraising Campaign will have its own tracking features.  TDL fans, supporters, adopters and followers will compete against each other to get the most donations!  We set Claire Bear’s campaign to end on December 31st, 2013.

Share with us YOUR Fundraising Campaign and we will post them here, on Facebook, Twitter and our Newsletter.  We will also share your story with #GivingTuesday and your story just might be published!  Be creative, ask your family and friends for ideas and make it whatever you want it to be!  We can’t wait to see what you come up with, and as always, if you need any help, just give us a shout at TheDogLiberator@gmail.com

The Winner of our #GivingTuesday Fundraising Campaign will receive a TDL T-shirt, a TDL baseball cap, and other goodies we will announce shortly.  The winner will also be featured on our Website, Facebook and Twitter Pages, and be honored in our Newsletter.
