Mardi Gras On Mainstreet: British Barkers

        Calling all Dog Lovers!
We would like to invite you to have some fun with us on January 24th, 2015 in Deland, FL!
For the past few years we have been part of  Mardi Gras on Mainstreet, A Deland Dog Parade which is both a parade and festival dedicated to everything dog: Rescue, companies, shelters, products, all sorts of fun!

We normally arrive at 10 AM, Parade begins at 11 AM and Festival begins immediately after the parade ends. Come out and meet the TDL dogs and Volunteers as well as have a great time in general! Our booth will  have a raffle for a Pack Pack  and  we are bringing back the Kissing Booth again this year so if you want a great picture of your pup and a chance at a great present for them, come on out!

Does your pup love cookies? Well if you are a fan of treats that you can name all the ingredients in, and that smell so good you seriously consider eating them before your pup can, we have just the thing. Homemade cookies on sale at the booth. Yum!

If you are a TDL volunteer or Adopter we would like to invite you and your dogs (if they would be comfortable doing so) to come on out and walk with us in the parade! Costumes welcome but many of us will be wearing TDL t-shirts or colors. (black and white of course!). RSVP and let us know you are coming!
If you are not a Volunteer or Adopter we still want you to come out and see the parade and festival! It is way too much fun to miss! Can’t Wait? Brush up on you Mardi Gras history and terms!

This year’s theme is British Barkers (British Invasion) So pull out your best Union Jack apparel, grab those pup costumes if your dog is comfortable with them, and lets have a great time! When in doubt, remember it is a Mardi Gras Parade!
