Awe!
Awe!

Olivia was adopted by Beth and Kevin and is living in Sanibel Island!

Just to let you know, Gisele, we’re having a great time with Olivia! Still thinking/planning on updating her name, but have not, as yet. She’s a live-wire, for sure, but sweet & affectionate as you had said! She sits on command, no problem – and we’re working diligently on “down” & “stay”. She probably understands those 2, as well – but is testing us thoroughly with her charms 🙂 Her first vet visit is tomorrow.
Thanks so much for helping us adopt her, & for all you do ~

I love to chew and I love to play!
I love to chew and I love to play!

My fosters call me Bambi because I’m still an uncoordinated puppy. I’m probably between 8-10 months old, and I’m still chewing and learning to go potty outside. I was probably once a gorgeous puppy, and I was held and kissed a lot, but once I got big, and started to become a dog, my owners didn’t want me anymore.

I want to be adopted by a family who wants a dog, because, I am a dog, and in a few short months, I will be considered an adult dog. I’m incredibly affectionate and playful, and even though I act like a puppy at times, all I need is a little bit of training, and I will be the best dog you’ve ever had.

Yeah, I'm a lap lump!
Yeah, I’m a lap lump!

I prefer to be close to you, in your lap, and I love attention. I’m great with other dogs and older kids.

I’m really glad that my rescuers see my full potential, and I’m glad that they focus on rescuing non-puppies. I deserve a wonderful home, and a wonderful family and I don’t want to be abandoned ever again.

You can see my photos on Facebook!

History: Surprise!  It’s a girl!  She arrived last night and is being fostered by Laura!

We have rescued the Georgia dog and he is in a boarding facility waiting for transport. He is a male! I am told he has a sore leg. I don’t know what that means without an x-ray. I hope it’s just a sprain. However, many times we find out that these dogs have either been shot, or have been hit by a car. Please pray that it’s none of the above.

Update:  His leg appears to be better, so it must have been just a sprain or a bruise?  We’ll know shortly!  Also, I was told he looks much larger in the photos than in person!
