Shadow the Collie Boy-Adopted

Lando comes to us from Brandy Carder. This collie’s name was Shadow. He’s been in foster care for quite some time now, waiting on a ride to Florida. Shadow is being fostered by Janice and is a very good boy. More information about his temperament will be coming soon.

Michael and Dianna Noreen volunteered to take photos of some puppies yesterday, but the moment Shadow got out of Janice’s car (who was fostering him) Michael started the bonding process with this gorgeous boy. Personally, I couldn’t keep my eyes off of him. They are going to foster Shadow for a day or two, but I think the adoption is a done deal.

I’ve heard of first come – first serve but this was wild!

5:30 PM Update: Giselle,

I think he was meant to be our boy, so far he has played,(almost went for a swim) he was thinking about jumping in the pool while they were playing , he stuck his paw in the water and batted at it,,,,,,,, he,, had a good dinner. and a couple of treats.. has been brushed and he is Playing with Ozzee and Myloh…………When he first came in the he grabbed my shoe by the door, so we got him the rope bone and he chewed on that,.. i am amazed at how well everyone is getting along……… this is awesome///////

He has a very good temperment and loves to give kisses. i read his petfinder profile and it makes me wonder why in the world he ended up that shelter maybe it was destiny..

7:30 PM Update: he act slike he has been here his whole life instead of just a few hours, and everyone is getting along.. one of the kats swatted at him when he tried to sniff him, but no chasing or anything – Dianna

Dogs like Shadow don’t stay with me very long! Shadow has been renamed Ranger.
