What an amazing Day! Dawn not only did all of the baking, but she brought her own go-to guys, Adam and Nate who helped us out quite a bit! Thank you Adam & Nate!
Dawn Sweeney went above and beyond the call of duty baking her home made vegan and allergy-free doggie treats! Our Treat Bar was quite impressive!
Jeanette and Courtney brought their gorgeous Divas, Ginger Doodle (now Spec) and Squeeze (now Echo). They were show stoppers!
We also want to thank Robin Bush for taking care of our pack! Thank you Robin!
I was thrilled to get a surprise visit from Shep, Velveteen and Bennett’s Boots!
My son, Ryan and his friend Nicki helped setup and breakdown. Getting everything ready and packed is no easy feet, and my daughter, Sarah helped Dawn sell treats literally all day long! Rosie, our Chihuahua was an awesome TDL representative, letting everyone give her kisses!
Aussie, Niall had a meet at the event, and was later adopted by Joey, Woo Hoo!
Also, Romy Hurtado from Crystal River won our Raffle Basket, which was a stunning Pack Pack!
Our next Event is the Deland Mardi Gras Dog Parade, on January 18th. This is an annual event that we really look forward to! This year’s theme is the British Invasion and we can’t wait! Visit our Event page on Facebook for details.

Holy Sweet Potatoes, TDL is doing it again! Dawn Sweeney, TDL Adopter and the Gordon Ramsay of Home Made Doggie Treats is heading our Doggie Treat Bake Sale!
This year, Dawn has a special treat in store for us! Â Â Sweet potato fries with cinnamon and ginger. Â “They smell so good,” she says. Â I wish we had smell-a-vision!
Here are some of the ingredients we are using this year, and why:
Sweet potatoes have potent antioxidants that aid your dog’s healing, help prevent cancer and are a source of dietary fiber.
Coconut oil helps their skin and allergies, improves their digestion and immune system.
Oat bran and oat flour was used because it is an excellent source of antioxidants, aids their bones and teeth and soothes their gastrointestinal system.
Flax seed meal benefits their coat and immune system, while it also helps with anti-inflammatory and joint issues.
Home Made by our adopters from their own kitchens, our Favorite Healthy and Vegan Dog Treats approved and enjoyed by TDL Dogs!
Stop in, say hi, and check out our Vegan dog treats:
Banana Carrot
PB&B (peanut butter & banana)
Sweet potato & Peanut Butter
Sweet Potato Fresh Breath treats
Sweet Potato Fries Chew (new)
We usually run out every year, so get there early! Treats can’t be more fresh than this!
X Marks the Spot! Â Here’s where we will be! Â Come by and see us and sign up for a raffle to win a Mega Pack Pack!
